During that time the squad went 6-1 against some quality competition in California & Las Vegas. What really sticks out about this team is that they play quality team basketball. They share the ball, & our taught to play the game the right way with fundamentals. This is why this team has always been able to accomplish a lot.
Patrick Kelly from Pinnacle HS is a good prospect who is continuing to develop over time. Nicholas Payne has shown improvement with his strength on the floor. Jordan Mains from Pinnacle has shown promise as well developing into a player. His older brother Nik sounds familar the AZ hoops fans. Hoops runs strong in the family. Aidyn Albright from Horizon HS is one of the top sharpshooters in the west coast in the 2019 class and is hungry to continue to improve and lead Horizon next season. Lastly, Trent Brown has developed and continuing to develop as one of the top point guards in Arizona. Since a young age, he has always had a very strong IQ & feel for the game and as he gets older he is adding strength which will only help him as he improves. As the majority of this squad plays for Charlie Wilde & the Pioneers at Pinnacle, look for them to continue to play in June in the Paradise Valley Trojan summer league.
At the end of the day these players & this teams demonstrates 3 things: execution, toughness & character.
