Wisconsin Dells Player of the Week
The grassroots season is officially underway! We were at the NY2LA Sports Swish N Dish all weekend in Wisconsin. Here are your five nominees for the Wisconsin Dells Player of the Week! Make sure you vote for your favorite and check back to see who wins.
Justin Smith (Mac Irvin Fire 17U)
The talented Stevenson small forward took his game up another notch. After a strong close to the season he displayed he could score at all three levels and was aggressive looking for his shot throughout the weekend.
Javon Pickett (Southwest Jets 17U)
The Illini commit more than proved he is one of the best players in the 2017 class. The rangy guard scores with ease being slippery through traffic and has a feathery jumper pulling up.
Lacey Watson (Quad City Elite 16U)
Athletic guard that can get to the hoop. He was effective as a wing scorer hitting both threes and driving to the basket with strength.
Teyvion Kirk (All-In/Young & Reckless 17U)
Great weekend for the Joliet West lead guard. He proved he can score with a consistent mid-range jumper, driving to the hoop, and is a plus perimeter defender.
Markese Jacobs (Mac Irvin Fire 15U)
Jacobs was phenomenal all weekend! The 2019 point guard was consistent scoring using his lethal mid-range jumper while also getting to the rim. Tough as nails!
