The 2017 guard has a great feel for the game being able to handle the basketball in the open floor and shows an excellent feel for passing the rock. Green spoke about his sophomore year.
“It has went good. I accepted my role as the 6th man. Got to help the team in any way possible. Been playing good defense.”
What type of player does he see himself as?
“I like to get my teammates involved. Anytime I see the open teammate I try to get them the ball. I would rather have 10 assists than 20 points because it makes the defense work harder.”
He runs with Team First on the travel team circuit. During the second half of the high school season Green took an unofficial visit to Western Illinois and enjoyed his time on campus.
“I really liked Coach Wright and Coach Wolfe. I like their playing style.”
