Coming off his transfer sit out season he is playing club for Alvin Gentry Elite coached by Kevin Coble and Jarret Upchurch. He is playing on a team that will be traveling well from California, to Kansas to Atlanta playing in a string of Under Armour events which will be good for exposure.
So far this spring, Jared has received interest from UCSB,Pepperdine, & San Jose State.
National scouts are starting to take note in his nice frame & body which fills the part, his shooting ability from the 3 also has been deadly this spring catching the eye of division 1 coaches, however he must improve his ball handling & defense because that could affect him from taking that next step to a high level of basketball. However, Martin is a gym rat and loves working on his game and is already working on the things he knows he needs to work on which include his strengths, size, speed, agility as well as ball handling & defense.
Martin is looking for the perfect fit, which includes good academics, a good program with good coaches, and where he will fit in best as a player.
