The 6-foot-9 power forward out of St. Albans has just under three years of playing experience, but has shown rapid signs of development in recent months. He’ll be a name to watch as the EYBL’s first session draws near.

“I go for every single thing I see and try to play awesome defense,” he stated. “When I get the ball in the post, I try to finish hard in the paint, take contact and go to the rim.”
Owning a long, wiry frame and big, strong hands which he compliments with superb mobility, athleticism and timing, it’s very clear that Nnamene truly enjoys protecting the rim. He’s a high level shot blocker.
“My position and my size, a lot of guys want to play on the perimeter but not a lot of of people want to do the dirty work. I kind of want to do that so I can get myself to the next level,” said Nnamene.
There are signs that the sophomore is not done growing, which means he could continue to and become an even more forceful paint presence. He’s a two-way impact player as a result of his soft touch around the basket, and improved lateral quickness and timing.

The Nigeria native is a traditional big man who runs the floor, attacks the glass, and displays great footwork to go along with a tireless motor. He’s an intelligent player who understands the game and exhibits great instincts and a playful demeanor. With no scholarship offers to this point, but claims mild interest from Cornell and American. He should see a major boost in recruitment.
