Bryce had a great winter but if it’s possible he’s had an even better April leading the Comets to a 7-1 record in NY2LA Basketball play and a semi-final final finish in the Comets Shootout.
“So far I’ve been happy with the AAU season,” Bryce said. “We lost a tough one in the semis of the Comets Shootout to D1 Minnesota and have had a strong showing in the NY2LA league going 6-1 through the first two sessions (7-1 record overall).
“I’m excited to see how good we end up because I don’t think we’ve reached our full potential yet.”
Bryce still has some potential of his own that he would like to fulfill and goals he would like to accomplish.
“I would like to see improvement in my shot making ability, vocal leadership, and always defense,” Bryce said. “I feel like I have gotten stronger in the mental part of the game and improved my body control.
“My goals for the rest of the summer are to improve individually and as a team, win a lot of games, and find the school that best fits me.”
Irsfeld has six division two offers and interest from other programs as well.
“This month I have been offered by Winona State, Minnesota State-Moorhead, Bemidji State, University of Sioux Falls, and University of Minnesota Duluth,” Irsfeld said.
“I have also been hearing from St. John’s and I still talk with South Dakota School of Mines who offered me last summer.”
Based on the way Bryce is playing we at NHR feel that he should also been hearing from some division programs in the near future.
