Notes: Men of the Family isn’t your typical program for Grassroots. Built at the top age group, they play anywhere from incoming juniors to incoming sophomores. This year, the group is on the younger side as they are in a bit of a rebuild but still has plenty of talent. The seniors of the group are quite intriguing. Luke Smith and Joseph Counts are the two to watch. Counts is a big forward with a faceup game and Smith is the ball dominant lead guard. The 2018 prospects in the group, Chaz Birchfield and Jamil Turner-Hall are the two that stick out. Birchfield is a high motor forward who can stretch the floor. Jamil is a solid point guard who will help alongside Smith on the front lines. This group seems to always compete and has a few under-the-radar targets to watch for college coaches.
