SF Matt Chastain (Leroy)
The senior forward has been one of the hottest names on the recruiting trail over the last couple weeks. On Saturday he picked up a trio of offers from Loyola, Southeastern Louisiana, and Utah State.
PG Daniko Jackson (Riverside Brookfield)
The Riverside Brookfield lefty floor general is hearing from Ohio Dominican and University of Mary. He tells us he plans on visiting Ohio Dominican after the season is over.
C Myles Howard (Marian Catholic)
Howard is a rangy 6’8” center that uses his length effectively being active on the defensive end. The senior post says that he is in contact with Illinois Wesleyan, Augustana, and Sheridan the most. He has taken a visit to Illinois Wesleyan already and plans on going on a trip Sheridan.
PF Terrell Phipps (Simeon)
Phipps is a 6’8” post that has considerable upside. He flashed that ability on the circuit, but hasn’t had quite the senior season most expected. Phipps tells us he will most likely go the JUCO route and is hearing the most from Wabash Valley and Lincoln College.
PF Harry Hallstrom (Naperville Central)
The Naperville Central face up four man says he is down to Wabash, Augustana, and Lake Forest. Hallstrom has visited the trio of schools and plans on deciding sometime early in the spring.
SG Drew Evans (Thornwood)
Evans is a strong and athletic shooting guard that elevated his game last summer. He holds a pair of D2 offers from Oklahoma Panhandle State and Ferris State. Evans plans to visit Oklahoma Panhandle State over his spring break.
PF Matt Mahlke (Downers Grove North)
This undersized power forward outworks his opponent on a consistent basis. He is the kind of player that you want on your team. He is considering DePauw, Hope College, St. Norbert, Lawrence University, Illinois Wesleyan, and Elmhurst College. Mahlke has already visited each of these schools and plans on taking more visits after the season before making a call.
SF Austin Juergens (Pekin)
Versatile small forward from central Illinois tells me Eureka, MacMurray, and Knox have been in contact the most. He plans on taking visits to Eureka, ICC, and McHenry after the season.
SF Matt Wendling (Athens)
Wendling is a 6’5” small forward who tells us he is in contact with SIU-Edwardsville, Spring Hill College, Carl Sandburg, and Southern Missouri.
PG Devon Sams (Bolingbrook)
Sams is a tough and physical point guard that knows how to get the job done. He tells us that he is getting a lot of interest at the JUCO level. Sams is hearing heavily from Rock Valley and Cochise College. The senior has already visited Rock Valley.
C Brad Perry (Maine South)
Perry is a big bodied center that can score in the low post. He says he has an offer from Robert Morris University. Also in communication with Minnesota Crookston and University of Indianapolis. Plans on visiting Minnesota Crookston in the near future.
SF Ethan Pogge (Normal Community)
Being a versatile mismatch at the forward position is the strength of Pogge. He mentions the schools that are most in the mix for him right now are Loras, Olivet Nazarene, Illinois Wesleyan, Millikin, Carthage, St. Xavier, and Elmhurst. D2 Sioux Falls is showing interest, but hasn’t offered. Pogge has visited most of those schools and has no trips planned at this time.
