In the 2016 class, guard Kevin Mack is one of the state’s most intriguing unsigned players. Mack is a multi-sport athlete as he also plays quarterback for Fairfax & even has received college interest for football as well. Basketball is where his heart his however.
This past season he led Fairfax along with 2016 forward Matt Morgan led Fairfax to a fairly successful season and a sectional tournament run under head coach Josh Wray. Mack has been a instrumental part of the Stampedes success over the past couple seasons where he was able to learn from former teammates. Mack also has played AAU for Team Bibby, where he trained with Mike Bibby as well, and still trains with the Bibby organization.
Heading into his freshman year of college Mack plans on playing at Phoenix College, under head coach Matt Gordon. Mack has the tough choice of deciding between basketball & football but is excited to play at the perennial power of PC. Mack has major goals at the D1 level but his journey starts here in town at Phoenix College.
