Standing a 6’4 the forward was able to help lead the Huskies under the command of legendary Jerry Conner to yet another state tournament appearance. Wenneborg was a straight workhorse all year long for Horizon, never quitting nor giving up till the bitter end.
Josh had many 30 point games, not only was he scoring but he had many games during the season where he finished with double-doubles for the Huskies. Wenneborg also had some exciting moments hitting some game winning shots as well as having some exciting dunks at the rim.
Wenneborg has played club ball for John Jensen & the AZ Power North organization. He will continue to play for the team this spring to remain in shape & play games. However he will be doing some additional skill work as well.
Josh however has decided to play basketball at Phoenix College where he will take a year to develop and develop his skill even further. He will be joining his teammate Joey Cipolletti, making two Horizon senior who will both be at Phoenix College.
