The big time athlete can score off the bounce getting in the lane and finishing with acrobatics at the hoop. Defensively moves his feet laterally and has upside on that end of the floor. The assist/turnover ratio needs to improve for him to max out ability. Could develop into a low-major prospect, but also might be a JUCO candidate where he could boost his stock with more development.
Towers spoke about his junior year.
“This season I am playing alright. I could be better, but I am doing good enough for us to win. I am doing well on the defensive end.”
The 2017 prospect broke down what he believes the strengths are in his game.
“A fast paced player that likes pushing it up the court. I like rebounding and stealing the ball playing defense.”
Colleges that have shown interest include Chicago State, New Mexico State, South Dakota State, and Western Illinois. Towers has played with the Chicago Demons on the travel team circuit.
