Really shoots it well off the catch. Right now that is what he is by far best at. Handles it solid. He is an exciting freshman to watch. How much he grows and his overall game develops over the next three years will depend on what level of a prospect he will be.
Cleveland spoke about his game.
“I can shoot good off the dribble and when it is time to make plays for my team I can.”
Deep range on his shot is definitely evident at a young age.
“That is my biggest strength. I am working on getting stronger so I will be able to get to the basket which will further open up my shot.”
How has the transition been to playing against older opponents at the high school level?
“It was a very hard at first because I had to get up to the tempo and the speed. I am used to playing against elementary school players. They are not moving as fast as 16 and 17 year olds.”
