In the 2016 their are a handful of talented players. One we have kept our eye on is Dominic Rogiers. Rogiers has developed over the years playing for Coach Mark MacGowan as well as training with his Arizona Rebels AAU coach, Michael O’Guinn.
This past season he helped led the Trojans to the final four of the D2 state tournament and put up a tough matchup against eventual state champion Shadow Mountain. Rogiers played very well in the playoffs, shooting the ball as well and being a senior leader on the floor for the PV Trojans who needed leadership on the court from it’s upperclassmen. Coach MacGowan & staff have done a good job establishing a strong culture within it’s program.
Dominic has decided to attend Phoenix College next season, a strong national junior college power here in the valley of the sun. Rogiers is going to take some time and sit the year out to get stronger, & work on his game. Rogiers is a talented guard who is touhg & can shoot the ball well but will spend time to fine tune his shot & add more elements to his game & his body as he looks to put on some size & strength.
Congratulations to Dominic on his decision!
