PG Tai Bibbs (West Chicago – 2017)
Bibbs is a 6’2” long and rangy combo guard that is uber athletic. He has great quickness off the bounce along with slick ball handling. He struggled finishing when in the paint in this contest. The guard would win off the bounce, but had trouble converting acrobatic finishes through defenders at the cup. Once he adds strength going forward that will help. Jumper wasn’t falling early, but he realized that and started attacking where he got to the charity stripe at a nice clip. Didn’t show much as a passer in this game. Defensively he was impressive using his length and quickness against a freshman point guard. Bibbs had 12 points. D1 prospect to watch!
SG Trevon Moore (Waubonsie Valley – 2016)
Moore is a physical and compact guard that is best slashing getting in the lane where he can finish in the paint or knock down a short jump shot from 10-15 feet. He is strong with the ball through traffic. Sticks his nose in to contribute on the glass. D3/NAIA prospect. The senior had 15 points.
PG Eric Cannon (Waubonsie Valley – 2019)
Cannon is a small and quick point guard that pushes it in transition. He is quick off the bounce, but struggled with turnovers in this one when he ran into defenders at the second level. Defensively he is pesky at the point of attack and overall did a nice job defending Bibbs. Cannon had 6 points. One to track in freshman class.
