Akkeem Foster 5’10 2016 Winslow – The top guard on a balanced Winslow team. Foster was the player with the ball in his hands when the game was on the line. He averaged a modest 12 points and 3 rebounds but had some big time performances for the Bulldogs.
Ashton Loring 5’10 2016 Mingus Union – Loring was the leader of a Mingus Union squad that quietly put together one of the best seasons in their division. The 5’10” playmaker proved himself as one of the best shooters in the state by making 57 threes at a 40% clip. He also averaged 13 points, 5 assists, and 3 rebounds.
Gresyn Rogers 6’5 2016 Casa Grande – The first part of a two headed monster for the Cougars. Rogers had a strong junior campaign and finished his senior year the same way. A playmaker, he scored the ball at a high level and was also able to make plays for teammates. His combination of size, athleticism, and skill was a rare find in Division-III play.
Jamil Ortiz-Davis 6’5 2016 Casa Grande – Rogers’ partner in crime. Ortiz-Davis finished his senior year strong. The lengthy senior showed great versatility all season long, especially on the defensive end of the floor. Offensively, he scored from multiple areas and was very underrated with his ability to get his team extra possessions.
