Lawrence Combs 6’6 2016 Mountain Pointe – The toughest matchup for Pride opponents. Combs did a little bit of everything. He scored from multiple levels, rebounded well, and defended just about every position. When he was playing well, Mountain Pointe won.
Chris Orozco 6’5″ 2018 Sunnyslope – Orozco was the second best player for the second place Vikings team. His productivity on the glass was a huge key in their success and he was also able to put some points on the board.
Amaury Matthews 6’1 2016 Dobson – Matthews was the leader of a senior laden Mustangs squad that hovered around the top ten all season. The 6’1″ point guard made plays on both ends of the floor and, while Dobson was ousted early in the playoffs, they did happen to make it to the second round.
Jared Rodriguez 6’7 2017 Mountain Ridge – The best shooting threat for a tough Mountain Lions group. Rodriguez’s importance to the success of Mountain Ridge, who finished ranked #6 in the final regular season rankings, cannot go understated. When the guards struggled to score he always happened to come up with some big baskets from the outside.
Isaiah Walton 6’3 2016 St. Mary’s – The Knights came on strong during the second half of the season. While they were balanced scoring wise, Walton was the team’s most consistent threat all season long. He scored off the bounce, made shots from the perimeter, but–most importantly-defended at a high level.
