When asked why he chose LSUA, he said, “Program is similar to our program here at Shreve. They have lots of interest in me and feel like God wants me there.” Those things are important with his senior season being cut short due to injury when he tore his ACL, MCL and meniscus on December 8th.
Loston plans on signing next month and has been rehabbing in preparation for college. Colleges such as LSU-Shreveport, Northwestern, and Southern were looking into Loston who is just focused on his grades going forward. He said, “I don’t know how they feel (in reference to other colleges), but I still have some work to do in the classes so that’s what I’m focused on right now.” He sports a 25 on the ACT and plans on improving his GPA this semester.
He made it clear he is willing to do whatever it takes to help LSUA. “After I get in and figure out how they do things, I think I can buy in perfect. I wont let the injury stop me. I will contribute to whatever needs to be done to keep them at the top.” It’s clear he’s aware of their ranking and situation with two senior point guards on the roster.
