Matt Jennings
6′ – PG – 2017
Jennings was everything I thought I would see out of him and maybe a little more. He shot the ball well and drew contact going into the lane. He had around 12 free throws to start the third quarter on just driving to the basket. He is a long and lanky guy and knows how to use his body. He has good handles which helped him against the quicker guards of Muncie Central. All-in-all a good game from the junior point who will stick somewhere in college. – 30 points, 5 assists
Jalen Adaway
6’4 – SF – 2017
Jalen impressed me with his athleticism, it jumped off at me quickly and he was easily the most athletic guy on the court. He showed me a nice floater and a good pull-up jumper. I would have liked him to attack the rim more but from seeing him before I know that he definitely can do so. Jalen has improved his shot and will grow more comfortable with it. – 23 points, 10 rebounds,
Sam Skaggs
5’10 – SG – 2019
Skaggs is a freshman to watch, he shows a nice scoring touch but that is all at this time. He is small and wiry but has a quick shot. On defense guards can post up on him since he is so much smaller than everyone but a interesting guy to watch for sure over the next few years. – 8 points
Muncie Central:
Andre Jones
6’6 – SF – 2016
Jones was probably Muncie’s best player on the court. He bullied his way to the rim and crashed the boards hard and came down with quite a few rebounds. He has good IQ and is okay with being the off-ball guy and he knows where to position himself for the ball. Hit a few jumpers but mainly sticks inside 15′. – 16 points, 9 rebounds,
Phillip Corthen
5’11 – PG – 2017
Corthen showed me great shooting range as he hit a ton of 3-pointers from the volleyball line and everywhere in-between. He has good handles and can take guys to the rack if he wanted to but settled for 3-pointers. I was okay with that as he made a ton of them and did not force. He could be a nice guard for a team that is looking for a shooter. – 23 points, (7/11 3s)
