Ryan Coble
6’2 – SG – 2016
Coble was really good in this one, may have played better than Butler commit Neese in some eyes. Coble really showed how scary he is to play against. He can really get in the lane and if you double he has no problem passing the ball out and giving a teammate the open shot. He kept it sometimes and threw up a shot you thought had no shot at going in, but it does. Very creative with the ball and is a great rebounder. He follows his shots, unlike most high schoolers and because of this gets more rebounds and put backs. He is a guy that is flying well below radars and should be on any small colleges list. – 38 points, 17 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 steals, 1 block
Colin York
6’0 – PG – 2018
York was quiet until the end of this game. He is the main point guard and runs the offense really well. He shows a nice pull-up jumper who can shoot the ball from deep and gets the ball off over taller guys pretty quickly. He’s a little small and wiry which helps him going through traffic but hurts him on defense as he gets bumped off the ball pretty easily. If he can grow a few more inches he will gain strength but he is a shooter to watch in the 2018 class. – 13 points, 3 assists
Cloverdale:
Cooper Neese
6’4 – SG – 2017
Neese is getting better every time I see him play. Especially as a passer which makes him so much more valuable. You know what you are going to get with him on offense which is a lot of shots and a lot of points but tonight he showed off his passing skills setting up teammates and it really has showed how much closer he is to becoming a complete player. Lacked tonight on the defensive end but still pounded the boards and had a huge impact. – 27 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists
Jake Wilkes
6’0 – SF – 2019
Wilkes is quickly becoming someone who I think could be pretty good down the road. He has came a long way since the beginning of him, especially in his second year of playing. He is getting more fluid every time I see him and his IQ is growing with each game. His shot is getting better and now shows a nice little one-handed shot up close. He will grow as well and could be a nice wing player. – 12 points, 7 rebounds
Jalen Moore
5’9 – PG – 2018
Moore is a very good point guard at this level with a knack for both distributing and scoring the ball. He has problems with height but he can still usually score the ball. Came up big in this one and hit clutch free throw after free throw. I would like to see him get a better shot and take better shots as well but he has to force sometimes. If he grows 2 to 3 more inches by his senior year he should fly onto the radars of many colleges. – 26 points, 5 rebounds 6 assists
