“Marian would be a good option for me,” Flamion said. “Just went to a game probably last weekend and that was exciting and talking to some other guys that might go there.”
Flamion said Marian is “probably” the favorite along with potentially going to prep school. The No. 67 prospect in the Prep Hoops Indiana Top 200 said he has also been talking to other schools but Marian has been in contact the most.
The Knights coaches like the versatility and options Flamion presents.
“Marian, they kind of said specifically they don’t really think of me like which position, just an athlete, a basketball player they could use,” Flamion said.
Flamion is still open to all options and size of schools, including the potential prep school route, and won’t make a decision until following this high school season he said.
That gives him time to continue working on specific skills as Carmel prepares for sectional play in a few weeks.
“Just working on everything,” Flamion said. “I got to work on shooting first of all … and defense. Think I’ve been playing defense pretty well but that can always get better.”
