The senior is very active on the glass using his athleticism and quickness to consistently high point rebounds. Defensively he is a force blocking shots coming from the weakside, guarding his man straight up, and chasing his opponent down from behind. Shaky as a finisher around the hoop as he should finish better through contact. Flashes upside through offensively. Needs to be looked at by D3/NAIA/JUCO schools.
How would he describe his game?
“I try to make it come to me. I am a post player. Once I get to college I will have to start working on my shot a little bit more. I am trying to improve my post moves. As far as my game I think I can be an all-around player.”
This is his first year playing major minutes on the varsity level.
“It is going ok. Last year I didn’t really get varsity minutes so I had to keep working. The season is going ok.”
On the travel team circuit he ran with the Downstate Vipers. Where do things stand with recruiting?
“It is going ok. I have some D3 and JUCO looks with Kaskaskia, Olive Harvey in Chicago, and Monmouth the D3.”
