DiLeonardi talked about what he brings to the table as a player.
“I am a combo guard that likes going to the basket. I like playing defense. Can hit open shots if I need too. I like to set my teammates up when playing point guard.”
He has taken on a bigger leadership role as a senior too.
“Last year we had Cole (Gentry) as a big leader. This year we needed someone to step up and play hard and with a lot of intensity. I think I help with that.”
Where does his recruitment stand?
“I have talked to a lot of D3 schools. A lot of higher academic schools. Washington University, University of Chicago, and Augustana.”
DiLeonardi ran with Team NLP on the grassroots circuit.
