Jumper has good form, but he can settle for it a bit too much at times. When he does drive shows quickness off the bounce and strength in the paint. Cuts well away from the ball. Improving as a passer. Worth consideration by low-major D1 programs.
Rose broke down his team’s season.
“It is going well. We can improve in some parts. We are coming out and trying to figure out ways to win every single game. Going hard in practice.”
He runs with Team Rose on the Adidas circuit.
“I think I did well on the circuit. I think I improved on my ball handling and pull up jump shot.”
Where does he feel the strengths are in his game?
“Getting out in transition and attacking the basket. Running in transition and getting teammates open.”
Rose updated us on his recruitment.
“I have a couple colleges calling and sending me letters. UIC has offered me. Interest from Northern Illinois, Nebraska, Western Illinois, and New Mexico State.”
UIC has made him feel like a priority.
“I like how they keep in touch. It seems like they care. They keep in touch with me every week. They want me to come to games.”
What will be important in a program for him?
“Family. If I feel that I am comfortable there and they are together as a unit it is the right school.”
