It’s likely that Gustavus and/or St. Olaf will have coaches watching tonight’s game, as Mays has narrowed his college basketball choices down to those two. There’s also the possibility that he attends the U of Minnesota strictly for the engineering program.
“I’m getting close to choosing,” Mays said. “I’m actually deciding whether or not I will play ball in college. Theres a chance I might go to the U of M for engineering. If I do play, I am choosing between St. Olaf and Gustavus. I’ll probably decide a couple weeks after the season. I’m hoping I have that moment where everything clicks.”
Tonight’s game is at 7 p.m. at Chaska High School.
