- Liked his effort going after some early offensive boards. It wasn’t just length that got him the ball, it was effort. In fact he had a couple nice looking early offensive boards which were ll about effort
- Set some nice screens to open Moody up early in the game. If he can screen like that in this game he can do it at the next level when he adds strength and weight.
- Jesse Roberts tried a straight post-up power move over Jordan but Jordan blocked that back in his face as fast as a human can do so. It was intimidation in the low post the rest of the way.
- Moody fed Jordan with a high lob that became a power step two hand dunk. Liked the footwork on the drop step. Looked good, could use a little more power in the dunk though! But it counts as two either way.
- Had a foul with 6:26 to go in the half that may rank with the weakest foul calls I have ever seen. Stood there and Johnson may have nudged him when he ran by. Whomever got the technical did the right thing, that’s a terrible call. Refs need to be called out for this by the coach so the coach can protect Jordan’s position around the basket.
- Jordan now has five offensive rebounds in the first half. When I saw him play this past summer he didn’t give anywhere near this type of effort on the offensive glass.
- Shoots free throws well for a big. Like the form and touch.
- Now has six offensive rebounds in the first half. The latest being a short three foot touch shot before the opponents could get up to the height of his shot to contest the attempt. That’s a big man advantage right there.
- Rolled hard off a screen, the one dribble attacking teammate saw him and led Jordan for a catch and dunk. Really nice finish on the move. Impressed with his how he releases and rolls to the rim off screens.
- Dickinson loves to go to his length on baseline in-bounds plays. On one play Jordan go low, pushed his man away, extended his target to a spot when the D couldn’t defend, caught, finished after a quick spin. Really nice seal, catch, and finish.
- Shortly after that there was a left shoulder turn with a right hand finish that was done with an ultra quick spin. Another really nice post move showing growth.
- Jordan confidently threw down four dunks in this game without regard for who was stepping at him. More aggressive.
