-Division I-
Desert Ridge at #8 Desert Mountain (Wednesday)
The Wolves fell at home to a hot St. Mary’s team on Monday. They will look to bounce back in their final home game against a Timmy Allen led Desert Ridge who defeated Mesquite the same night. Though the Jaguars have more talent the trusted teamwork of Desert Mountain should lead them to victory. This is Wednesday’s Game of the Night.
#1 Corona del Sol at Chandler
The Aztecs handed a loss to Mountain Pointe last night behind the stellar play of Alex Barcello and Saben Lee. They head into a game against Chandler where, though they are matched athletically, they have the ability to outsmart from the perimeter. Expect Corona to leave with a win.
#6 Highland at #5 Gilbert
It’s been a rough going for Highland who has loss their last four, one of them including a 59-54 loss to Gilbert at home. The Tigers come in winning eight of their last nine including a big victory over Desert Vista on Tuesday. Expect Gilbert to bring home a victory on senior night. This is Thursday’s Game of the Night.

Moon Valley at North Canyon

#3 Casa Grande at Queen Creek
Queen Creek is a team that is slowly edging into the top of Division-III and a victory against Casa Grande would do wonders for that effort. However, that’s tough considering they have no one to matchup with 6’4” senior Gresyn Rogers. The Cougars do play Waldon Grove on Wednesday but should be able to handily defeat them, giving their key components time to rest. Expect Casa Grande to come out on top.
-Division-IV-
Arizona Lutheran at Northwest Christian (Wednesday)
The Coyotes started the season slow going 2-7 in their first nine contests (including a 3 point loss to Northwest Christian) but have won nine in a row since. They come in with a lot of momentum and have something to prove. The Crusaders, who have been up and down all year, took a devastating loss to Scottsdale Christian last week but should have energy as it is senior night. Regardless, ALA’s too hot right now and will likely come out victorious.
#2 Phoenix Country Day at Arizona Lutheran
Country Day has won 10 games in a row and done so in handily fashion as each game was a double-digit win. They are as good as any Division-IV team in the state right now and face an ALA squad that will be coming off of a Wednesday battle with Northwest Christian. Expect the fresh legs of the Eagles to lead them to victory.
-Division-V-
Valley (Sanders) at #2 Pinon
The Eagles have won 12 straight games entering their final game of the regular season tonight. It is senior night and the energy in the gym will be electric. They face a Valley (Sanders) team that has been competitive but expect Pinon’s momentum to carry them to a W.
