St. Joe (the top seed) rolled to a 59-44 win over Loyola in that match-up. The Baltimore Sun said that Miles Wilson (13 points), Jalen Smith (12 points, 11 rebounds) paced the winners, who will advance to the semifinals.
The Sun said that Patrick Norris had 12 points in the Loyola loss.
St. Frances pulled out a 72-62 victory over Archbishop Spalding. Kurk Kee, Jr. paced the winners with 30 points, per The Sun.
Justin Kane topped Spalding by scoring 20 points.
John Carroll moved to the semifinals with a 60-46 victory over Mount Carmel. Nemanja Knezevic topped the winner, per The Sun with 17 points.
Calvert Hall rolled to an 84-73 victory over St. Maria Goretti in that quarterfinal. Brendan Adams led the way for the winners with 29 points, according to The Sun.
The semifinals were scheduled for later Sunday night with the title game after that Monday. will have the title game.
