Christino Gomez 6’9 PF Hillcrest Prep
Gomez was ranked with our 2018 class during the fall but has been considered as a 2017 prospect since the season begun. He’s raw but is lengthy a very mobile. He’s got a chance to be a solid Division-I caliber player.
Austin Jackson 6’6 PF North Canyon
Now Jackson will never play college basketball (he’s a BCS level football recruit). However, he deserves to be ranked in the 2017 class as his combination of size, strength, and athletic mobility is intriguing. There’s not doubt that he’d be a nice small college level player if football wasn’t his priority.
Jacob Jefferson 6’7 C Buckeye
Jefferson is a player that doesn’t get a ton of love, mainly because he plays for a Buckeye team that doesn’t get a lot of attention. At 6’7” 230lbs he’s a physical player with a big frame and knack for rebounding. He’s averaged a double-double throughout the regular season.
Max Moses 6’0 SG Arcadia
Moses transferred into Arcadia this season and immediately made an impact. The Titans’ leading scorer, Max’s ability to put the ball in the basket has been big as it has opened up opportunities for teammates Elijah Sikora and Matt Burton.
Krill Panifilov 6’6 PF Hillcrest Prep
Panifilov was a late addition to the Bruins. He is a skilled 4-man that can knock down the outside shot a plays with a bit of a meanstreak.
Jeff Perez 6’0 SG Apollo
Apollo is known for it’s guard play, headed by standouts Holland Woods and Dre Marin. Perez is the next best player for the Hawks, often used as the sharpshooter. He has knocked in a ton of shots from the perimeter and is a big part of their success on the offensive end.
Bilson Piebade 6’10 C Hillcrest Prep
Piebade is another Hillcrest prospect that was ranked with our 2018 class in the fall but has since been considered a 2017 prospect. He’s got a lot of potential. He’s a strong interior presence with true size and good length. He also finishes well at the rim.
Nick Rosquist 6’0 SG The Gregory School
Rosquist has been on of the most productive guards in the state all season long. The Gregory School ranks as one of the top teams in Division V, in big part to Nick. He has an uncanny ability to score the basketball and with an average of 24.9 points per game, he’s the second leading scorer in the Tucson area. Jake Schulte 6’7 PF Perry
Schulte has greatly improved his game this season. As a sophomore he played junior varsity for the Pumas but has grown in stature and in skill level. He is Perry’s best player at the 5 position.
Adam Wright 6’0 SG McClintock
Wright is the third member of the Charger perimeter trio. The most athletic of the group, Adam is very good in transition where he is able to finish above the rim. He locks down on the defensive end and has been the most consistent player for a guard dominated McClintock squad.
