PF Treavon Martin & Tyree Martin (Curie)
This 6’6” brother tandem continues to flash upside. They are both thin and have very long arms. That helps them alter shots on the defensive end. Traevon is a bit more polished and a better player at this point especially offensively. Tyree might have a higher ceiling when it is all said and done. These brothers need to be monitored especially in the spring.
PF Jalen Shaw (Larkin)
At 6’8” the Larkin sophomore power forward presents some upside! Shaw is super long and lanky. He runs the floor very well for his size. Offensively he is a bit raw with his body control and misses some easy shots inside. Can knock in a mid-range 15 foot jumper. Good rebounder that once he adds more strength should be even more effective in that area. Presence on the defensive end blocking shots. A name to watch moving forward in 2018.
PF Chris Johnson (Naperville North)
Johnson stands at 6’6” with a strong upper body. Good area rebounder that is active on the glass. Soft touch around the hoop. Fights on the defensive end and anticipates passes.
C Ryan Davis (Conant)
Davis is a 6’9” big bodied post with solid length and a strong lower body. Moves pretty well for his size. He is raw around the hoop and doesn’t look to post up on a consistent basis. Potential is there with size, but needs to be refined.
