Wisconsin Dells Player of the Week 12/28 – 1/2
It was quite a week of performances across the state. Here are your five nominees for Wisconsin Dells Player of the Week!
Lou Griffith (Washington)
Washington’s unsigned senior is one of the toughest kids in the state. The scoring point guard dropped 46 points on a talented Lanphier team at the Pekin tournament.
Da’Monte Williams (Peoria Manual)
Williams was great throughout the Pontiac Holiday Tournament, but his best performance was in the semi’s against Joliet West going for 37 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 steals. He also hit the game winning free throws.
Antonio Williams (Proviso East)
In his return to the court the senior shooting guard put on a show! The athletic guard got to the hoop at will and put up an impressive 24 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 5 steals, and 2 blocks in a win over Uplift at the Proviso West Tournament.
Skyler Nash (Riverside Brookfield)
Nash proved he is back with his play against Lake Forest at the Jack Tosh Holiday Tournament. The 6’5” wing hit threes on a regular basis, rebounded, and got out in transition. He finished with 16 points while opening the eyes of college coaches.
Jeremiah Matthews (Crete Monee)
Matthews put on a show at the Hinsdale Central Holiday Classic against St. Charles East. Quite simply he was on fire from deep on his way to 38 points in one of the best shooting displays of the season.
