Team Rankings – Classes 3A to 5A Updated
District has begun for some teams and will continue this week as the last few tournaments take place this weekend. That means the chance for out of district big time match-ups is coming to and end and jockeying must be done in district against rivals where winning on the road is a feat in it’s own right. With hot teams continuing the streak, it isn’t always easy to make the jump needed to get into the top 10 or jockey enough for higher positioning.
Some big schools went out of state and while it isn’t reflected in the records, it surely is in the rankings. Other teams are still getting by off the reputation but district losses can change that very quickly. No number one moved out of their spot and the top 10s held pretty firm but movement throughout and teams on the fringes of the big classes surely are knocking on the door. Losses at this point can be critical.
