Greencastle:
Ryan Coble
6’2 – PG – 2016
Coble did not have the best game I’ve seen of him this year but he got it done across all categories tonight. He was 12/26 from the floor and got to the rim pretty effectively off of screens and drives. He did not take as many threes as he normally does so his main work was inside on drives and floaters. It was nice to see him pass the ball and found the open guy a lot off those drives. He also continues to rebound the ball really well this season. – 31 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists, 5 steals
Colin York
5’10 – SG – 2018
York had one of the best games I have seen this year from him like Coble. He hit four catch-and-shoot threes and looked more active than usual. He was the main guy with the ball once they got across halfcourt and performed well only having one turnover and showing he can use both hands. He was also a shutdown guy on defense tonight but his man was not really looking to score as much as the others. – 18 points
Western Boone:
Kaleb McCloskey
6’3 – SF – 2016
McClaskey was on fire in the second half hitting 6/7 from deep in the game including the game winning three with under five seconds left. He was able to create his own shot and was good on the catch and shoot as well. He attacked the glass hard creating havoc and either grabbing the ball or tipping it out to a teammate. He was the main offensive guy for the Stars and he carried them on his back. One of the better shooters when open I have seen. – 36 points, 10 rebounds
Marshall Hodgen
6’ – PG – 2017
Hodgen was the main ball handler for the Stars and he excelled in the point guard role. Only one turnover and had three assists. He also got to the rim and finished when the drive was given to him and when he was open from deep he took it and knocked it down. I would like to see more movement from him as when he got rid of the ball he kind of stood around but he is a good ball handler who knows the game. – 15 points 3 assists
