The 6-foot-4 shooting guard has his team at 5-3 on the season and they were on a four game winning streak recently before losing to Fargo Davies.
Siman is averaging 19.8 points per game shooting 40 percent from the floor and 35 percent at the arc. Sem is also grabbing 5.5 rebounds a contest (second on the team) while leading the team in assists, steals, and blocks.
“The season so far has been pretty successful throughout the first several games,” Siman told PHD. “To get better we have to continuously bring it to practice and to games as well.”
The Spartans are led by new coach Ted Critchley who came to the school from Roseville Minnesota where he took the Raiders to state last season.
“Things have been going good throughout the first couple weeks with Coach Critchley,” Sem explained. “He has helped team bring the competitive edge that North has in the past years back.”
As far as Siman goes, he played with ECI in the off-season and spent off hours working on his game.
“I’ve expand my range and improved my jumpshot during the off season. I’ve played well on the offensive end but still need to improve on the defensive side of the floor.”
The top prospect in the North Dakota junior class knows what he needs to work on and so far this season he’s been giving the Spartans results.
