Continue ReadingLoyola junior Ramar Evans is a strong and compact 6’2” lead guard that plays off the ball some as well. He is coming off a great summer on the travel team circuit with Chicago Lockdown. The junior is strong getting in the lane powering his way through thinner defenders. Solid mid-range shooter. Sound passer that has a good feel for the game. Low-majors should look, but might be best at the D2 level.
Evans discussed how his game is coming together.
“I can score. I am better off the dribble. I can shoot. Play hard on the defensive end. My biggest thing is probably rebounding. I pride myself on getting rebounds.”
He has heard from several programs on the recruiting trail showing interest.
“Western Illinois, Holy Cross, Brown, and some Ivy League schools.”
