Player Of The Week: Jeremiah Coddon
With 46% of this week’s Player Of The Week votes (more than 2,500 voters selected him), Jeremiah Coddon of Woodbury ran away with the award presented by Wisconsin Dells.
Scoring an average of 18.2 PPG, the junior Coddon has helped the Royals to a 17-2 record. He’s taking after his older brother (Isaiah, who now plays at RCTC) in scoring buckets from the wing with his athleticism.
“It’s great to know that the community supports me,” Jeremiah said. “I have really great teammates; they are the reason for my success.”
A few key adjustments this season have helped Jeremiah take his game to the next level, much to the approval of Woodbury hoops.
“I try to get the best shot possible and play hard defense,” Jeremiah said. “I will play hard every game until the season’s over.”
Woodbury has a good chance at winning the rest of its regular season games, with Mounds View being the most challenging matchup on Feb. 11.
