The most notable of the new faces is Terry Collins (6’2 G) out of Bonnabel. He had a tremendous summer with Mo Williams Academy that made everyone take note. He comes in at 8th in the new rankings. At 13th is Jimel London (5’8 PG, East Ascension) and he is a great leader with the ball in his hands or without. One of the biggest reasons East Ascension has gotten off to their start.
Braylon Chaisson (6’5 F, Carencro) took LA12 by storm at the end of the summer when he went toe to toe with 3rd ranked Joshua Leblanc. He scores in a variety of ways and is always willing to put his body on the line with his high motor. Marquie Mosley (5’10 SG, Ellender) helped LA Lightning to a very good summer and has continued his play with Ellender this year.
Big man Cameron Wire (6’5 PF/C, East Ascension) showed out in the same event this summer with his PG when summer school ball was in session. The big bodied post player has potential on the gridiron as well. Another big to notice is the 6’7 big from Lafayette who is raw but learning the game, Jaden Edward.
