Division-II
#1 Shadow Mountain at #10 Acardia
Shadow is coming off their most impressive win of the season over Paradise Valley. They are carrying momentum into this game and—just plain and simple—the Titans don’t have the manpower to defeat the Matadors. This is Tuesday’s Game of the Night.
Rincon at Cienega
Winners of six straight, the Bobcats are looking for another signature win and one over a Southern Arizona favorite like Rincon solidifies them. Both teams have been in consideration for a top team ranking the last couple of weeks and a win for either would be huge. Expect Cienega to take the W.
Queen Creek at McClintock
Queen Creek is the winner of six straight including a huge victory over #8 Higley. McClintock, while talented, hasn’t played as discipline and as a result have loss five straight. The Bulldogs will likely get a road win this week.
Division-III
Verrado at #3 Estrella Foothills
The Wolves are the winners of 11 straight, their only loss being to #1 Scottsdale Christian in their first game of the season. Verrado has competed against some very tough teams and taken them to the wire but expect them to lose their third straight game on Tuesday.
Bradshaw Mountain at North Canyon
Bradshaw Mountain has been pretty successful this season, ranking right outside the top 5 and winning 8 of their last 9 (only loss being to Moon Valley). North Canyon is the winner of 3 straight at home but expect the Bears to overpower them.
Division IV
American Leadership at Florence
American Leadership ranks right outside of the top 5 in Division IV. They play a Florence squad that has been a bit inconsistent. Expect the Patriots to get a road rim.
Division V
#2 Arizona College Prep at #5 The Gregory School (Monday)
After a tough loss to Bisbee, The Gregory School will look to capture a top five win, taking on Arizona College Prep. The ACP Knights are winners of 5 of their last 6 including a quality road win at Arizona Charter. Expect the Hawks to protect home court though. This is Monday’s Game of the Night.
