- Cretin-Derham Hall at Woodbury. The turn around at Woodbury has been a great story, the top ten spot from CDH and progress a year ahead of expected has been a great story. Two top ten teams battle for the top league spot with young guys all over. Should be fun. I feel like CDH has a bit more big game experience, Raiders win by two scores.
- Minnehaha Academy at Breck. Breck is 9-5, much better than anybody expected, and playing the Redhawks for league first play tonight. Nobody thought that a month ago so good for Breck and good for Coach Hill. Tough task tonight though. I see Minnehaha winning by eight.
- Waconia at New Prague. The Trojans lose 3 of 4 you forget about them at the start of the year, However, they have won 12 of 14 including wins over Chaska, Orono, and Delano. The Wildcats and Trojans for league control this evening. Both have been playing really well, I say home team by a basket.
- Lakeville North at Lakeville South. The rivalry contest played again. South has had a big turnaround and is hosting their rivals in what should be a sellout contest with some big name talent playing (Reuvers, Brooks, Sorenson, Mitchell) but the role players will decide it. How will that key role guy be? North by one.
- Minnetonka at Hopkins. Tonka lost two of three after they lost Coach Carr but have now won seven of eight and face a Hopkins team fresh off a wild Tuesday night. This rivalry game all depends on where Hopkins is at mentally coming in and how Tonka moves the ball through the Hopkins D which took a beating on Tuesday. Hopkins by 13.
- Delano at Orono. Both have lost recent games to New Prague so a little steam is off of this one. But both are top ten in Class AAA and both have a shot at the league title if they can pull this win off. Big game as neither can afford another slide against a key opponent. Delano by four.
- Chaska at St. Louis Park. Another conference lead contest as Hoop Czar told us this morning. Metro West this time. Two surprise teams as Chaska is close to a top ten squad and the Orioles are not just competitive finally, they are a threat to beat many. I feel like Chaska has just a bit more size and punch, they win by six.
- Mahtomedi at North St. Paul. The Fighting Janquarts are fighting for the league top spot with the Zephyrs. After a huge win over Tartan the Polars now working to take their team to a spot they haven’t been secure in for awhile. Should be a fun night. Polars get another one.
- Rocori at Alexandria. A sleeper pick of a top game, Comet teammates Jaran Roste, Derek Thompson, and Connor Schoborg say hello. Both teams really need a big win to add to their resume and it should be close. I feel like Rocori will slide by with a five by victory.
- Rochester JM at Mankato East. JM can’t afford a lose to an East team that has turned things around since a rough start. JM has had East’s number in Mankato before, I expect big numbers tonight from the Hurts, and Dedoch Chan could explode. JM by a dozen.
