BREAKING: Nick Robinson Decommits from Indiana St
Top 10 senior Kenwood 2016 small forward Nick Robinson has confirmed exclusively with PrepHoopsIllinois that he has decommitted from Indiana State. Robinson committed back in the fall, but did not sign his national letter of intent in November. He told us why he has decided to reopen his recruitment.
“I feel that I did not give myself sufficient time to identify the opportunities that are available to me. Indiana State’s program and coaching staff was impressive, so I made a quick decision, however it was premature. This important decision was made during a highly emotional time, as I recently lost my brother and father. At the time I just wanted to move my life forward. Now, I know that it is best for me to not rush the process and take the time to discuss with my family members.”
Robinson is a big and physical wing that when he is locked in can flat out score! His combination of strength and athleticism make him intriguing at the next level. He can drive to the hoop and score slashing in the lane. Also works well posting his man up and making quick moves on the block against smaller defenders. The senior checks in at #8 overall and the #2 small forward in the 2016 class.
He becomes the top available wing in Illinois and the second highest rated uncommitted prospect in his class.
