Jose Estrada 5’8″ PG Sr. Nogales
Estrada is small but, when it comes to playmaking, he is among the giants. The 5’8″ point guard is currently averaging 22.4 points per game while shooting 50% from the field. Because he scores so well his ability to get into the key has proven key as he makes the defense makes decisions. Because of this he is able to get his teammates easy shots as he currently averages 7.7 assists per game.
Anthony Gaxiola 5’10” PG So. Tanque Verde
Gaxiola has stepped it up big time in his sophomore season. With the departure of his brother Gabriel, Anthony has became the focal point of the Hawks’ offense posting a scoring average of 21.9 points for the Division 4 team. The 2018 prospects needs to become more efficient but has been aggressive and has put up big numbers because of it.
David Larrabee 5’8″ PG Sr. River Valley
The leading scorer in all of Division 4, Larrabee may not be big in size but he produces in a big way. Currently averaging 24.6 points per game, David scores in a variety of ways. An adequate shooter, his ability to get out in transition in addition to scoring in the midrange area have proven successful. The small guard plays with great toughness.
Grant Plouck 5’10” PG Sr. Empire
Plouck has found himself to a very successful individual start early in his senior career. The Tucson native is currently averaging 25.4 points while shooting 49% from the field and 39% from 3. Though his team is just 4-3, Grant’s production has been tremendous for the Division 3 program, also averaging 4.6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals.
Nick Rosquist 6’0″ SG Jr. The Gregory School
Rosquist is the state’s leading scorer at 31.4 points per game. The 6 foot junior is a marksman from beyond the arch nailing 40 threes in just 9 games while shooting at a 46% clip. He’s one of few high school players in the 50/40/90 club. Currently standing 9-1, he’s looking to lead the Gregory School deep in Division 5.
