John Kiser
6’5 – SF – 2016
Probably the best game of Kiser’s career or at least pretty close. He’s a guy who is always active and when he’s at his best he’s catching at 16′ and driving at the rim for runners and layups. Today, he did that to the max and didn’t let up to the tune of 41 points. The 6’5 forward is about the hardest working player you’ll come across and that allows him to play against smaller guards or bigger forwards. He’s pretty skilled and decently athletic although he might not look it. If he can do more of this, which is what he has done so far this year, more teams should start gaining interest. Best player on the day hands down. – 41 points, 10 rebounds
McGwire Plumer
6’0 – PG – 2017
Plumer is a kid that has started to find his place on a team more and more in the last year. He’s starting to look and play as more of a point guard and it fits, although he needs to tighten up a few things. His ball handling is good and he can play within the flow of the game and handle pressure. He fits there because to this point he hasn’t been a huge offensive threat and he’s better at creating on the ball rather than off. The biggest knock to this point is keeping things under control and cutting down turnovers. An issue a lot deal with when having the ball in there hands more so it isn’t unexpected. Could pay off for him down the stretch.
Fort Wayne South:
Trejean Didier
6’2 – SG – 2018
Didier and Boucher really struggled shooting the ball today but Trejean did continue to show his dribble drive game that I saw in the game against Brownsburg. He’s needed to add different elements to his game and he confirmed the improvement in that aspect today. Didier is a strong, stocky guard who has a great jumper and loves to shoot from deep in the corners. Can put up points in a hurry and feeds off of big shots. – 20 points
Austin Boucher
6’2 – PG – 2018
Boucher really struggled to shoot from behind the arc and at one point was 2/13 from there. He’s still one of my favorite players in the 2018 class as he has great size and will stick at the point. Tough kid who has good court vision but plays a little too fast for him to be effective. Can get a little too sped up. He will have to learn to slow things down and play within himself and if he does his ceiling is pretty high. – 18 points
