Thanks to quality play from senior forwards Collins and Maxwell inside, Adrian was able to jump out to an early lead. The defense also played well as it took most of the first quarter before Armada was even able to get its second basket of the game.
Of course, Armada did find a bit more success later on. Jared Couch and Brandon Kopytek were a few of the players to get involved and at halftime, Adrian Lenawee Christan led 26-14.
In the third quarter, Collins really excelled and separated not only himself from many of the players on the floor, but was also able to help separate his team in the game. Armada did make a bit of noise in the fourth quarter thanks to Daniel Matthews, but it wasn’t enough to make the comeback. All told, Adrian Lenawee Christian won by a final score of 47-28.
