He dominated when we saw him on the boards consistently boxing out and snatching the rebounds with his huge hands. He had several offensive rebound put backs. Keith is a high volume rebounder that takes up space on the interior. Offensively he isn’t really a drop the ball in the post and make a move guy as he is pretty raw there, but he definitely can score on dump off passes and quick dishes inside from his guards as he has soft hands. With the lack of bigs in the state he should be under consideration at the D2 level and would be a great D3, NAIA, or JUCO candidate.
Keith talked about the early season for Farragut.
“The season is going well. We are improving a lot. We have a couple people coming back from last year. Coming out and showing people that we can’t be missed and can hang with the top dogs in the top 50.”
Where does he see the best parts of his game at this stage?
“My strengths are rebounding and using my physical strength. Attacking the offensive and defensive glass.”
He discussed the areas he is working on.
“More on my athleticism now that I lost a lot of weight. Slowing down and being more patient. Coming to the ball more.”
Keith played with the Ronnie Fields Admirals on the circuit.
“It went well. I heard from a lot of coaches. They told me I just need to improve my game and keep doing what I am doing. Keep having my confidence rise.”
Albion is one school that has expressed significant interest in him. What will he look for in a school?
“The size, home feel, and me fitting in with the team.”
