He is a high caliber shooter who has expanded his game to do more on offense, while possessing a very high basketball IQ that allows for him to play in an array of systems.
At this point, Stark has received interest from “Colorado College, Point Lima University, University of Dallas, Hiram College, Azuza Pacific University, Emery Riddle University, and Benedictine University.”
Although he has received a lot of interest from many different schools, he does not possess any scholarship offers to this point. However, as he seems to be a good fit at an NAIA, D2, or D3 school; that does not mean he is behind the ball. Offers should come in time as there is a premium on guys who can shoot the ball and execute sets.
In addition to having his recruiting heating up, his team has as well. Led by his strong play, they have won 3 of their last 4 games. Stark has been a huge help in this as he is leading the team in scoring at 17.6 points per game and leading the team in assists at 2.6 assists per game.
Stark has high expectations and his team will need to continue to play well in order to fulfill his wants. He stated that, “My expectation for this season is to make it deep into the playoffs.” This could be a tall task due to the talent in Division 2; however, his team’s recent inspired play could be the spark they need to make a run at the end of this season.
Look for Stark to continue to play hard due to his passion for the game and attract some attention from some smaller schools due to his love for the game and his ability to shoot the ball from deep as well as his high IQ.
