Braun is a sleeper that emerged over the weekend as one of the under the radar players in the senior class. The 6’4″ wing is the younger brother of GCU standout Josh Braun. Justin has a strong frame and displayed a solid basketball IQ. He put the ball on the floor, made shots from the perimeter, and showed great toughness.
Tristen DAngelo 64î SF 2018 Boulder Creek
D’Angelo was very solid throughout the weekend. The sophomore wing made some shots from the perimeter and also had an impact on the glass. He is one to watch over the course of the season.
Max Moses 60î SG 2017 Arcadia
Moses had a strong game for Arcadia in their matchup with Deer Valley. The 6’0″ off guard played with great energy and toughness. He defended hard which led to a lot of fast break opportunities. He also showed his ability to knock down shots and find cutters on the move.
Emmanual Taban 64î SF 2019 Apollo
Taban is an impressive prospect. The 6’4″ freshman has extremely long arms and is very mobile and fluid. While he didn’t get the opportunity to show a lot on the offensive end he defended well and hit the glass.
Adam Wright 60î SG 2017 McClintock
Wright is a solid third option for the Chargers’ perimeter random. The 6’0″ junior played a solid game against Apollo, really making an impact on the defensive end of the floor. He created 50/50 ball situations with his hustle, defense, and toughness. He also made plays at the rim offensively.
