#2 Dane Kuiper 67î SF New Mexico
Kuiper made a big impression on the Lobos’ coaching staff early on. The 6’7” freshman started in the teams second exhibition game against Rogers State, logging 18 minutes while scoring 2 points and snagging 4 rebounds. Since the Corona grad has played in just 5 of the team’s last 7 games due to depth. However, expect him to be a contributor for years to come.
#4 Nate Renfro 67î SF San Francisco
Renfro has been in immediate impact player for the Dons. The former Grand Canyon commit has started in 8 of his 9 games played while playing nearly 23 minutes per game. He’s had his fair share of highlights while averaging 5.6 points and 4.3 rebounds. His shooting percentages from the field (53%) and from 3 (44%) have been good as well. In a December 4th loss at Montana Nate was USF’s bright spot as he scored 10 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and recorded 2 blocks.
#7 Brandon Clarke 67î PF San Jose State
Clarke has been solid in the early whispers of his career, starting in three of eight games for the Spartans. In 16.1 minutes per game he is posting averages of 5.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists while shooting 54.8% from the field. In a loss at Montana State he had 9 points (4/6 FG), 5 rebounds, and 1 assist.
#9 Nick Allen 67î SF UTSA
Allen has had a great beginning to his college career, starting in all eight games for the Roadrunners while averaging just under 20 minutes per game. The 6’7” athlete is posting 6.5 points and 3.5 rebounds each outing while shooting 47.8% from the field. His best game came in a loss against Central Arkansas where he recorded 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 block while shooting 4/9 from the field.
