<h2.#20 Brandon Hoffer 6’0″ PG Colorado Mesa
Hoffer has had a great start to his college career averaging 17.3 minutes per game as the top reserve for CMU. The freshman point guard is only averaging 2.9 points per game but is shooting 47% from the field and has dished out 17 assists while totaling only 8 turnovers.
#21 Connor Nichols 6’5″ SF Colorado Mesa
Nichols is averaging the second most minutes of the bench for Colorado Mesa at 15.7 minutes per game. The 6’5” swingman is the team’s fifth leading scorer at 7.6 points per game while shooting at a very high clip from the field (46%), from 3 (46%), and from free throw (89%). Nichols is also recording 2.4 rebounds per game and 1.3 assists per game.
<h2.#22 Kwenton Scott 6’2″ SG Cedarville
Kwenton is having an outstanding freshman season, starting in one game while appearing in all 8 for the Yellow Jackets, averaging 15.1 minutes per game. The former Cesar Chavez and Westwind Prep standout is the team’s fourth leading scorer at 9.1 points per game and is shooting 37.5% from 3. He’s also snagging 2.6 rebounds per game.
#30 Carter Aby 6’7″ SF Western New Mexico
While his team is struggling, Aby is making an impact for Western New Mexico in hopes of turning the program around. The former Division 3 Player of the Year is averaging 18.3 minutes per game off the bench scoring 5.3 points per game while shooting 44% from 3 and grabbing 4.2 rebounds per game.
#35 Trevor Baker 6’1″ SG Hawaii Pacific
Baker has been very efficient for the 4-3 Sharks, averaging 12 minutes per game while appearing in all seven contests. Trevor is scoring at a high clip at 6 points per game while shooting 40% from the field and from 3 in addition to 75% from the charity stripe.
<h2.#50 Mike Mellinger 6’4″ SF Concordia-Irvine
Mellinger is playing a key role for one of the top Division II programs in the country. The 6’4” wing as played in all eight games for the Eagles while being in their top 8 rotation with just over 17 minutes per game. He’s averaging 3 points per game and shooting 40% from beyond the arch.
