SF Nick Robinson (Kenwood – 2016 – Indiana St)
Robinson is a physical and talented wing that when he brings his motor he is one of the most talented smallforwards in the senior class. The top 10 prospect was aggressive going to the basket using his size and speed going downhill through traffic. He had a few quick finishes inside, mixed in a mid-range jumper, along with a variety of drives off the bounce and in transition. Defensively he was active using his hands to get in passing lanes and cause turnovers. Did a solid job on the glass. Indiana State commit finished with 18 points.
SG Zion Morgan (Kenwood – 2016)
Morgan played on the ball a lot in this game. The long and angular guard was aggressive early with the ball and then drifted for a bit. He got in the lane with ease and had a couple nice dishes. Jump shot wasn’t falling consistently. He did get out in transition. Finished with only 6 points. Projects as a low-major prospect with mid-major potential if he plays more consistent.
PG Charlie Harlan (Kenwood – 2016)
Harlan is a quick and shifty lead guard that has some drive and kick ability. Missed a couple threes early, but did hit a spot up three. He had 3 points. Look for him to be effective at the D3, NAIA, or JUCO level.
SG Miles Curry (Kenwood – 2016)
Big wing with upside flashed ability with a corner three and had a nice baseline drive. He had 5 points. Worth a look at the D2 level with his upside, but would be a steal at a D3/NAIA.
PF Manny Patterson (Kenwood – 2017)
Patterson stands at 6’8” and is one of the top junior post prospects in the state. The strong bodied four man has a college ready body. He struggled with foul troubles in this game, but when in the contest was effective. Patterson was active defensively using his hands getting steals and blocking shots. Couple nice finishes inside and seals well. He had 6 points. Mid-major prospect with potential to develop into a high-major player.
SF David Hunt (Kenwood – 2017)
Hunt is a physical 6’5” forward that is best using his physicality inside. He tried to use some skill early and did have a nice pump fake followed by a drive where he got fouled. Hunt is most effective bullying his way on the interior where he uses his strength and quickness to score or get fouled. He had 4 points. Projects as a small college prospect down the line.
SF Naseer Turner (Kenwood – 2018)
Love the upside with this projectable 6’5” small forward. He has long arms and a lanky frame. Really stood out in the fall and used his athleticism along with activity level in this game to make an impact. Quick inside and has a feel for finishing. A lot more to his game that hasn’t been seen yet! He had 6 points. Projects as a D1 prospect early in the process.
SG Antonio Reeves (Kenwood – 2019)
Reeves is a long and angular combo guard that came in on the road late in the game and wasn’t afraid. He let a couple fly from deep including making one from deep. The freshman had 3 points. One to track going forward.
