Here’s a look at some interesting numbers — and the players who came up with them — in the past few days
–24 The number of free throws that Vado Morse of Bullis shot in Saturday’s 62-44 victory over Spalding. Morse made only 14 of them but finished with a game-high 30 ponits because he made five two-point baskets and two three-pointers.
–0 The number of two-point baskets that Largo’s Greg Boyd made in Saturday’s 64-61 victory over Prince George’s County rival Bowie. But no problem. Boyd nailed three three-pointers and made nine of 13 free throws to finish with a team-high 18 points. Maybe two-points baskets just don’t mean that much any more.
–29 The number of points that Meade’s Tristan Easton scored in his team’s 77-62 victory over Anne Arundel County rival Glen Burnie on Friday. Easton did it all in this game, making 10 baskets — including three three-pointers — and six free throws plus six rebounds.
