Massive edge.</li> <li>Produced almost 11 steals a game.</li> <li>Shooting percentages of returning players is excellent: Austin Slaughter (54%), Carson Dennis (46%), Mark Toe (55%), Braedan Hanson (48%), Paul Miller (66%)</li> <li>Shot 224 more free throws than their opponents</li> </ul> Fargo Shanley <ul> <li>Had 80 more turnovers than assists</li> <li>As a freshman Cameron Saville made 49 percent of his attempts and 70 percent of his foul shots. Good first year numbers</li> <li>Shanley was 13-11 and they lost their top three scorers, rebounders, and assist leaders to graduation</li> <li>Scored 65.5 points per game, a solid total for the season</li> <li>Shot 68 percent from the foul line which isn’t bad but so much of the men to that led to that total are gone from the school.</li> </ul> Valley City <ul> <li>Took 102 less foul shots than their opponents,</li> <li>Won the rebounding battle by three a game on average but…</li> <li>They had 136 more turnovers than assists</li> <li>Nate Rodriguez shot a ridiculous 52 percent from the arc on 72 treys</li> <li>Somebody that gets overlooked is Hi-Liner now junior Levi Nix who worked for eight points and six boards a game last season</li> </ul> Wahpeton <ul> <li>They were 12-1 at home last season, a mark that will be tough to match for several years going forward</li> <li>357 assists compared to 231 turnovers, excellent numbers across 26 games</li> <li>Carson Zarak is the only guy returning from last year that played 200 or more minutes</li> <li>Zarak led the team in assists, was second in steals, and fourth in scoring and rebounding</li> <li>Reed Albrecht did play 7-8 minutes a contest and also returns</li> </ul> West Fargo <ul> <li>Won the nightly rebounding battle by nine a contest</li> <li>Averaged a dozen steals a game</li> <li>Creighton Pfau is the only returning player that averaged more than one shot per game</li> <li>Pfau shot 48 percent from the filed, 36 percent at the arc, and 70 percent at the foul line</li> <li>Tyson Jelinek didn’t play much but he did manage to get a shot up every 3.5 possessions when he played. He will likely be a starting frontcourt player</li> </ul> WF Sheyenne <ul> <li>Shot only 57 percent from the foul line as a team meaning opponents could count on them missing 8-9 foul shots out of 19-20 a contest</li> <li>Won the nightly rebounding battle 31.4 to 29.6 a contest which is really impressive when you consider they had no seniors</li> <li>You don’t the top two rebounders on a team also be the top two three point shooters but that is what Eric Ringdahl and Gavin Moeller did at 40 percent and 38 percent from the arc respectively.</li> <li>Carter Bonnema and Andy Stephan are the only guys on the team to shoot better than 60 percent from the foul line.</li> <li>They were 8-3 at home but just 3-10 on the road. </li> </ul>
